More restaurant than bar!. My husband and I visited yesterday on a tip that we'd find great Spanish food here....and we certainly did. Do not be put off by the entrance. Once past the small bar (my husband was impressed with the offerings) and kitchen there is a casual, family friendly dining area. We have been aficionados of Spanish food for over 40 years and this is the best restaurant food we've come across for the price. We started with fabulous beef empenadas at only $2.00 each. I had the moistest chicken and rice I've ever eaten. I chose tostones as my side, shared them with my husband and had to bring home the leftovers along with 1/2 my dinner. All for $9.00! My husband had the roast pork dinner with the yellow rice and beans as his side. 1/2 of that is also in our fridge. Can't believe the quality for these prices. Most dinners are $10 and under. A great restaurant that I will be returning to with friends.
