Citysearch Editorial Review. The vibe at the deliciously dark Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods Casino is part Sunset Strip rock haunt and part Mexican bordello (er, cantina). It recalls Quentin Tarantino’s movie “From Dusk to Dawn,” only more deluxe with rich royal purples, crimson reds and striking paintings of doe-eyed senoritas. Booths and couches create lounging spaces to slurp fruity margaritas and gulp premium tequila. The peckish can nibble upscaled burritos, quesadillas, tacos and the exceptional guacamole with warmed, crisped tortilla chips. In clement weather, there’s an outdoor deck with squashy seating, which overlooks giant silver birches and the Connecticut countryside.
