Fresh light Thai
by archanes
Great Thai. Comparable to west coast restaurants. Good value, and fast service. Modern hip ambiance. The soup was not my favorite. They use the right ingredients in traditional recipes, that they have modernized. Ver good for lunch or diner. A walk from downtown, with good parking. Located on Route 1, next to the old railroad depot, which is now the visitor's info. Goo destination when coming to Mystic
- Pros: Ambiance, Parking, Value, flavor, BYOB
- Cons: view of traffic distracting. BYOB. Not authentic native Thai
A Must Try

I love this place and the food! The fish with chili sauce and tamarind duck at Rice, Spice, Noodles were exceptional and beautifully presented. I also recommend Plah Goong which is grilled shrimp with pineapple and some exotic Thai herbs, ginger and mint. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the gourmet coconut ice cream, creme brulee and a wide selection of tea at the end of our happy meal here. I have a lot of good things to say about this place.
- Pros: great food, nice ambiance, good value
Great find

The food was fantastic. Lots of options with clear descriptions of food and spice level. The lighter bites are great value. The waitress has great suggestions and was polite. It is small and sound carries, but the food outweighs all other problems you might find.
