Tips for Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

Busy mexican restaurant in a land of Italian restaurants.
Staying in the Northeast means that you'll eat a lot of Italian food, and a lot of seafood. After a while you'll want a change, and Margaritas Mexican Restaurant is a change from Italian. Their signature margaritas, which you'd think would have to carry the day, are only mediocre with Sauza tequila figuring heavily. The bar staff can fix decent Patron margaritas if you ask.
The food was goopy and lumpy. Specifically, they'd decided not so much to mash the avocados for guacamole in favor of lightly pushing them around, resulting in something that didn't quite work with the chips. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla, which had a little heart on the menu (meaning, "healthy"). A half pound of cheese with roasted vegetables is not really healthy, and I left half the cheese stuck to the plate.
Service was friendly, though it was Saturday night so it wasn't quite prompt.

Excellent tacos. A fun place, especially when you are able to sit outside. The maguerita's are excellent, as is the enthusiasm of the wait service. If you are in the mood for "Mexican", this would be the lace to go in Mystic.
