The body shop showed a high regard for customer service. The finished product exceeded my expectations! If a deer runs into my car again, I will be back!
NEVER EVER BUY FROM HERE!! I bought a 2005 car here and a few days later the break light came on. I took it in to have them look at it (since it was still under warranty), and they told me it was just a loose line. On my way to a different auto-body shop (to get a second opinion), my breaks failed and I spun out of control on the highway. It turns out they had replaced the original ABS pump with one from a scrap yard, which was leaking, and never disclosed this to me. It cost me THOUSANDS of dollars to replace. Seriously do not buy from here. I have had so many problems with my car, which was way too expensive ($13,000) to cost me all this extra work not even MONTHS after purchasing. I would have been better off buying new.
Excellent Service from Collision Center. I had great service from Girard Nissan...from sales to service and especially the Collision Center. I had read a prior review that was unfavorable regarding the "Body Shop" which I could not have found further from the truth. This is a great place to get your car repaired...the staff is professional and forthright. I have nothing but good things to say about Girard.
Do not use this body shop. I had a horrendous experience with the body shop at Girrard Nissan. They took longer to fix my car than they should have (as determined by the appraiser), the service manager tried to explain away all the reasons the repairs were not completed in a satisfactory manner (I had to take the vehicle back twice since the initial repair) and they tried to get out of paying for a car rental when it was their fault the initial service was not completed and the car had to go back to the shop. Overall, I felt the service manager was shady and tried to talk around all the problems rather than being straight with me. I never felt like he was being honest. This whole process went on for 6 months with me having to spend countless hours on the phone to their shop and my insurance company to insure things got paid and I wasn't left with the bill. The matter is still unresolved and Nissan is not responsive. Save yourself a whole lot of frustration and go somewhere else. State laws in Ct do not allow insurance companies to steer you away from or to a body shop, though I think if my insurance company had been able to they would have told me to run away from this place. It was a truly awful experience. I really have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a service provider before.
